I am currently working on a literature review for a PhD project entitled 'Aspiring to Survive: Precariat Constructions of Social Mobility and Social Justice'. This qualitative, emancipatory research project will utilise psychosocial interviewing and discourse analysis to explore precariat workers perspectives on social mobility policy, comparing and contrasting these with dominant neoliberal discourses and examining the impact of these discourses on participants' lived experiences. The research will also incorporate co-designed elements, wherein participants will have the opportunity to choose some of the data gathering and analysis methods.
